HASD
On May 7th the
HASD banquet was held. As a new employee
to the district, I was very pleased to be able to attend.
Everyone is so polite and welcoming.
It says a lot about the district that there are so many employees here for a number
of years. It was organized very nice
and the HS Show Choir was a treat to see.
I am very proud to be part of this school district and work with such great people. Thank you for the great night.
We would like
to thank Helen
Johnson for all the miles she walks every day while delivering the
mail. She sorts the mail, inter-office mail, delivers all the packages that come
plus everything else she takes care of during the day. She always makes sure she's
very prompt in delivering everything that comes into the school district and makes
sure it get's to it's proper place. Thank you Helen

I would like
to give a very special thank
you to Mr. Vern Romsos who is a volunteer tutor at
Hortonville Elementary School. Vern
does a
wonderful job working with my kindergarten students three days a week. He
is always positive with the students and builds their confidence in learning new
skills. The children enjoy the individual
help they receive working with Vern.
Thank you Mr. Romsos! WE LOVE YOU!

Thank you to
the 30 - 3rd graders who joyfully participated in the Katie Kazoo Book Club this
school year. Our final book was called
"No Rules" and the children learned what can happen if there were no rules in school. They were even given the chance to switch
places - via discussion - with the principals.
A great conversation of options occurred and we found out the children would
opt for a waterpark next to the playground and Dairy Queen sundae bar on Friday's. The imaginative ideas were plentiful
and humorous. Thank you Mrs.Besaw,
Mrs. Rankin and Mrs. Nackers for sharing the joy of this book series with the kids
throughout this school year.

I would like to thank Diane Nackers for doing a great
job with the students she works with and the teachers she works with. Because she
gives 110% with every child, the students are moving on and are excited to finally
"get it". Thank you for all of the help you give staff with caring as much as you
do!
