Greenville Middle School

Thank you to Dawn Cass, health aide at GMS.  We are nearing the end of the school year and we cannot “thank you” enough for your dedication to all the students at GMS.  We especially cannot express our appreciation for your daily support and care for Jaclyn.  Having you there for her during the school day and lunch hour was something we never took for granted.  Jaclyn has expressed to us how much she is going to miss you.  You have been there for her the past three (3) years as a “mom” and provided care when we couldn’t be there.    I appreciate the daily updates with her blood glucose numbers and if she had any lows during the day.  I truly looked for the information just to know where her day was at.  Jaclyn has matured so much and you helped her get through some very difficult times.  The first year you were so very willing to give her daily insulin injections -- thank you.  Your gentle, caring way is one we will never forget.  You have helped us through one of our darkest nightmares.  “Thank You” does not seem to be enough -- please know it is heartfelt and we will miss your care next year.      Again, thank you, always . . .     Kevin, Julie & Jaclyn Shelley
