Written by individuals who live and work in Mexico so you get the native point of view, and it's kid friendly. Vocabulary terms are defined. Be sure to include the definitions in your brief, (answers). Links are easy to follow. One way to get around is by selecting Surf Control at the top of the page.
CIA World Factbook 2000 -- Mexico The Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) information page on Mexico. Includes demographics (where people live and information on their backgrounds), country size and good collection of other information.

http://www.presidencia.gob.mx/?NLang=en - From here you can locate all sorts of information on Mexico's President.
http://www.mexconnect.com or www.mexweb.com – Timeline of Mexican History with links to more information. Also includes links to people, events, food, and traditions.
www.geographic.org - This is by far the most specific site to hit when researching anything for Mexico. You will find information on Mexico's unemployment. Go to this site and then click on either people, Countries, Maps, Flags, and then locate and click on “Mexico” and search away. Make sure you use this information.
http://www.worldalmanacforkids.com is a great site for education, government, geography, economy, and cultural information on Mexico. Go to "Explore", "Nations", then click "Honduras to Mexico", then locate and click "Mexico".
http://countrystudies.us/mexico/ Scroll to the link for health care and social security, but feel free to use other links as well. Source is the US Library of Congress.

There are of course more websites then just the ones listed here, but these are the primary ones to use. The information can be overwhelming so have patience and work thoroughly. Be willing to spend some time reading. Teammates and family members are valuable resources.
Search engines like Google or Ask Jeeves will also bring many links to Mexico at your fingertips. You will find sites dealing with Mexican culture, food, entertainment, sports, Mexican President Vincente Fox, imports, exports, and many more. If you find a really good site that is not listed above, please let us no so we can provide a link for others to use. Good sites would be those from reputable sources with fairly current information.
