Fun ways to use Magnetic letters

Letter play - Let kids play with magnetic letters on the refrigerator

Letter Match - Find other letters that look exactly the same as a letter in their name

Alphabet train - have your child put the lowercase letters in order of the alphabet

Upper Case/Lower Case Match - match the upper and lower case letters

Color Sort - Sort all  the red, blue, green and yellow

Feature Sort -  Sort letters in a variety of ways - e.g., letters with long sticks, letters with short sticks, letters with circles, letters with tunnels, letters with dots, letters with slanted sticks.

Making Words - make a simple word like mom or dad and have your child say the word by matching each letter i.e., m-o-m
