Class Activities

PE I  Students enrolled in PE I will participate in the following activities:

PE II  Students enrolled in PE II will participate in:

                                  Badminton                Rollerblading             Pickleball                   Snow Shoeing

                                  Cross Country Skiing                                 Workout Wednesday

Active Team Sports 

                 Students in Active Team Sports will participate in team sports that may include:                                                        Softball                      Flag football             Soccer                      Cricket

                                  Field hockey             Speedball                 Rugby                       LaCrosse

                                  Badminton                Basketball                Volleyball                 Team handball

                                  Workout Wednesday.

Aerobics I and II

             Students in Aerobics focus on the five health-related components of fitness by participating in

                 cardiovascular activities, muscular strength activities, flexibility, muscular endurance activities and

                 body composition/nutrition activities.

Body Conditioning

                 Students in Body Conditioning focus on strengthening the body through very specific exercises/

                 activities.  This class is designed to include activities to improve cardiovascular endurance, speed,

                 reaction time, flexibility, jumping ability, strength and explosiveness.

Lifetime Sports I and II 

                 Students in Lifetime Sports will focus on the following activities:

                                  Archery                      Lawn Games            Golf                            Disc Golf

                                  Orienteering              Angling                      Biking                         Flag  Football

                                  Team Challenges     Volleyball                   Fitness                       Curling

                                  Bowling                      CPR                           Ultimate                     Snowshoeing/skiing

                                  Workout Wednesday

Weight Training

             Students are introduced to exercises related to strength training through the use of machines

                 and free weights.  This class is designed to give the students a strong background in techniques

                 associated with strength training for post graduation activity.
