What is Open Enrollment? Wisconsin's public school Open Enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they reside. For more Frequently Asked Questions, please see the link to the right labeled: DPI FAQ Sheet
(Please note: If you currently live in the Hortonville Area School District & simply wish to enroll your child for the first time, this is not open enrollment. To register/enroll your child you need only to contact the school office.)
Open Enrollment Coordinator: Tera Mytton
The next open enrollment application period is February 4 - April 30, 2013, for the 2013-14 school year. To view the informational brochure for open enrollment, please click here. Parents are urged to apply on-line via the link Application Link below.
If a student moves to another school district during the school year but wishes to remain in his/her present school, a parent must fill out a Tuition Waiver for the current year, & apply for Open Enrollment the following year.
Please note: All students in a family must apply separately, i.e., having a sibling currently open enrolled does not mean other family members do not have to apply.
**The Open Enrollment information & contact information contained on this page is only for attendance outside of your district of residence. (For example from Appleton or New London to Hortonville)
If you reside within the Hortonville School District, but would like your child to attend a different school within the district (for example live in Greenville but would like your child to attend Hortonville Middle or Elementary or vice versa) please fill out the Intra-District Transfer Form and return to Tamie Neilson
