I grew up, on a dairy farm, in Fountain City, WI. I milked cows and bailed hay with my six sisters-no brothers. Yes, my fabulous parents were blessed with seven daughters. We're a very close knit family.Here we are at one neice's wedding this past summer.

     I graduated from UW-Madison~go Badgers! My first years of teaching were with the DC Everest School District, near Wausau. After my second child was born, I opted to be a stay-at-home Mom. This I continued to do for 17 years, subbing in their schools. Then I re-entered teaching with new insights in 2002. I've been teaching with HASD ever since. I'm fortunate, as I love what I do!                               

My family consists of my husband, Ken, and our three children. Ken works with New York Life. Our daughter Sarah,(UW~Madison) teaches too, and was married this summer! Our son, Jake, (UW~Madison) works in Chicago in the financial world. Angie, our youngest, is a senior at UW-EauClaire majoring in Elem. Ed.
