Teaching Experience: I began teaching in 2003, and have been at GMS since the 2005-6 school year. I have been inspired by many fantastic teachers over the years, including my wife, Shannon (a kindergarten teacher), and my sister, Karen (a 3rd grade teacher), among many others. I consider myself extremely fortunate to be working with an all-around great team of 6th grade teachers, and the staff and administration here are truly top-notch.
Education: In 2000 I began to take courses at UWGB in order to be certified for teaching. In 2003 I received my teaching certification for grades 1-8 and completed a science minor. Previously, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a radio broadcast emphasis from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point in 1995.
Family: I am married and have a daughter named Renna who is 3 years old, and a son named Kennan who we welcomed into the world this past summer. I grew up with FOUR sisters and NO brothers!
Coaching: Since 2006 I have been involved with coaching 7th grade boys' basketball each fall.
Interests: Science, traveling, motorcycles, playing guitar, technology, great books, Faith.
