Philosophy
I believe that a teacher's role is multi-faceted. Imparting content knowledge is central, but serving as a role model for students, demonstrating what it means to be a responsible, caring, honorable citizen in and outside of the school environment is also of high importance. I believe that the middle school years are an extremely important time for students to develop their personal organizational system and take on increased responsibility and accountability for managing their schoolwork.
Hobbies
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outdoors (walking, biking, boating, working in the yard), and getting lost in a good book!
