FIFTH GRADE BAND MUSIC
Link To ONLINE METRONOME

ONLINE METRONOME

In a piece of music, the metronome marking tells the performer how fast or slow to play.  It can be notated using either a word (such as allegro, presto, adagio, etc...) or a number (such as 144).  Follow the link to the right to a free online metronome.  Once you are at the website, click the number you want and the metronome will automatically begin at that speed.

When practicing with a metronome, you will get best results if you start off at a speed that is slower than marked and gradually increase it as you gain ability.

SCHOOL SONG

This is a very large file and will take a moment to download completely.  Please be patient.  (Dial-up internet users may experience significant delays.)

Click on the "play" button below to hear the Hortonville School Song.  If you would like to hear only your part played, click on the grey shaded box to the left of your instrument.  When just your part is highlighted in pink, that's all that will play.  To reset to full band, click in the white space surrounding the graphic.  That will turn off the pink highlighted area.
