In our Social Studies curriculum, we cover the history of the United States from the very first settlers to the Civil War. Some topics of study include the Early explorers, the Native Americans, the Colonial time period, the Revolutionary War, Westward Expansion, and the Civil War. We also discuss what citizenship looks like for a member of the United States and in the Spring, we prepare a power point project for a state in the United States.

Our textbook is Scott Foresman The United States copyright 2005.
