Hello! My name is Megan Van Hoof. I have been a teacher at Greenville Elementary since 2016. I teach Kindergarten through 4th grade students with Intellectual Disabilities with an emphasis in life skills. I previously taught elementary and middle school special education in a different district for 5 years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and watching students grow and progress. I work with a variety of other teachers, administrators and therapists in order to help the students we work with be successful. I believe that in order for kids to be independent and successful, they need the adults around them to work together and assist one another.
On a personal level, I have one younger sister, a brother-in-law and a niece. My mother is a director of curriculum, instruction and assessment for CESA 8 and my dad is an electrician. I spend as much time as I can with my family and we enjoy playing games, watching movies, baking and just hanging out. I am also very close to my grandparents and visit them to play cards as often as I can.
