One goal of project based learning is to move deliberately beyond fact memorization and the notion of content-specific studies by developing connections between what we learn and its practical application in a student's life and world outside of school walls. This includes knowledge of traditional curricular content like history, literature, math, and science, but necessitates the development of communication and collaboration skills through the completion of a project or finding the solution to a problem.
