Welcome to the Polar Bear Summer Academy: August 6-10, 2012

We are pleased to provide a learning opportunity consisting of locally developed courses taught by HASD staff! The 2012 academy is the culmination of a great deal of research, planning, and support from the district staff and Board of Education. Join your colleagues for a week of academic discussions, learning opportunities, and a time to prepare for the 2012-13 school year! We look forward to seeing you in August for the Polar Bear Summer Academy!

To secure your spot, submit a $30 payment to the Curriculum Dept by May 20th. The registration fee covers lunch, materials, and snacks. If a cancellation is made after June 15, 2012, the Hortonville Area School District will retain the $30 fee. Cancellations must be phoned into the IT Dept at 920-779-7959.

Participation Salary Payment

Full-time HASD participants receive a $200 (pre-tax) one-time salary payment after successful completion of the academy.

Graduate Credits

Viterbo University to offer two graduate credits to individuals willing to pay the tuition ($220) and complete the entire academy programs. To earn the credits, attendee must complete full-time and full-week attendance.
