About ACT WorkKeys
ACT WorkKeys tests are research-based measures of foundational work skills essential to career success across industries and occupations. These tests are criterion-referenced to the skill requirements of the workplace and yield information that helps individuals document their skills and evaluate career opportunities. ACT WorkKeys tests assist educators in evaluating curricular outcomes and preparing their students for the workplace, as well as help employers to make better decisions about who to hire, train, and promote. Students who take ACT WorkKeys Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information are eligible to earn the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate.
SAT
The SAT is another entrance exam used by colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test administered by the College Board. Students are tested in two areas: Math and evidence base Reading and Writting.

PSAT
Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Exam
A test to help prepare students for the SAT. Students with the highest PSAT/NMSQT® Selection Index scores (critical reading + mathematics + writing skills scores) qualify for recognition in the National Merit®Scholarship Program.
The PSAT test date was Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Hortonville High School.
Accuplacer (Technical College)
This exam is for students planning to attend Technical College. It can be taken in place of the ACT. Students planning to attend FVTC can take the exam at the Fox Valley Technical College Campus.
A test taken for AP courses. Students can receive college credit with successful AP exam scores.
The test required for the military. The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test and it is administered in February every year at HHS. Students must sign up, if interested, in the Counseling Office.
