Hollywood is coming to Hortonville!
Get ready to roll out the red carpet for Hortonville High School Homecoming 2026! This year’s theme, Hollywood in Hortonville, will bring a little movie magic to Homecoming Week as students, staff, families, alumni, and community members come together to celebrate.

Homecoming Parade
One of our favorite Homecoming traditions returns Friday, October 2, as the Polar Bears take Hollywood to the streets of Hortonville.
The 2026 Hortonville Homecoming Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. Community organizations, businesses, youth groups, teams, and others are invited to join the fun and help us roll out the red carpet for Homecoming 2026.
Want to be part of the parade? Complete the Community Parade Entry Application and return it to Dallas Herbst or drop it off at the Hortonville High School Main Office no later than 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29. Parade entries will line up at 3:30 p.m. in the John Street parking lot near Grandview Golf Course.
This year's parade will run from John Street, right on Olk Street, left on E Towne Drive, left on Warner Street, Left on N Nash Street and then back to the HHS parking lot (see map below).
Parade Participant Information Section
All drivers and riders must adhere to the following rules. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the parade lineup.
- All Drivers must have a legal driver's license and be over the age of 18, they may not be current HHS Students.Drivers must hold a current insurance for the vehicle they are operating and are responsible for any damages.
- All vehicles and floats must be in legal, safe operating condition. Riders are not allowed to stand on floats unless it has sides.
- Everyone riding must stay on the float at all times.
- Riders must be seated completely on floats: legs may not dangle from the sides.
- Riders in the vehicles must wear seatbelts.
- Riders in the bed of the truck must be seated in the bed of the truck. They may not sit on the rails of the bed. You may place bales of hay in the beds for rider setting.
- Drivers are not allowed to honk horns or rev engines while waiting in line.
- Drivers may not play music that is loud enough to disturb the vehicle/ float in front or behind of them.
- At no time may inappropriate music be played.
- All approved entries will be assigned a position in the parade line up. If you would like a special position in the parade line up, please specify your request on the entry form.
- Candy or items may be handed out.
- All approved entries must have their vehicles/floats in the parking lot area on John Street no later than 3:30 p.m. the day of the parade.
