Mrs. Johnson- Interventionist
Often times, you will find me outside on my deck with a cup of coffee, ,and my dog, Rascal, enjoying a good book. As the house begins to wake up, sounds of my three children going on adventures and my husband working on perfecting our yard surround me. My oldest, Trey, loves to run, and he is always asking me to time him with the stopwatch on my phone. Collecting snails, painting, and swinging from our oak tree branches is my little firecracker, Hailey. The youngest is daddy's little helper; always wondering how things work, he has been our little engineer in the making since he could walk. Throughout the last ten years, I have taught grades 6-12 ELA, supported teachers as a literacy/instructional coach, and now working as an interventionalist. While completing my Master's Degree in Science and Education, it was my primary focus, and passion, to research and implement ways to help those who struggle with reading, specifically at the secondary level.
