Hortonville Area School District has 3 Social Workers that work within our schools. A School Social Worker uses many different strategies to ensure that students are both physically and mentally ready to learn in their classrom. School Social Workers help to create increased academic achievement, safety, attendance, and social-emotional behavior for students. They help students who are struggling with their learning due to barriers that may exist due to their environment.
