The Hortonville Area School District's Music Department is proud to provide outstanding music instruction and life changing experiences to the communities of Hortonville, Greenville, Ellington, Grand Chute, Dale, Hortonia, and Liberty. With hard work, dedication, and cooperation from the parents, administration, faculty, and students, we have been identified as "One of the Best Communities for Music Education", for the 15th year in a row.

Solo Ensemble 2018

Our Music Department has been very busy, getting students prepared for the Annual Solo/Ensemble Festival March 3rd. This year's festival is being held at Hortonville High School. In an effort to "GO Green", and to help reduce spending within our district, we are providing all information On-Line. Please open each of the links below that and share them with friends and family. This event is open to the public and free of charge. Come and enjoy some great music performed by hundreds of students within our conference.

Washington & Lee Swing is the official School Fight Song for the Hortonville Area School District.

You can play the entire song by clicking on the red arrow, or listen to individual parts by clicking on the rectangle to the left of the instrument name and then clicking on the red arrow. This is a great way for students to learn their individual parts and for everyone to see how all the parts work together to create the full score. Shift/click will allow you to play multiple instruments at one time.

Daily Challenge - Log every minute you spend watching television, playing video games, or chatting on-line (yes this includes facebook). Spend the same amount of time playing your instrument, singing, or learning about music. A great way to expand your knowledge of all types of music is to check out National Public Radio's music site and radio station (89.3 FM).
