Who is Stephen Root?
Stephen is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian. Additionally, he has also starred as Jimmy James on the TV sitcom NewsRadio, as Milton Waddams in the film Office Space (1999), and as the voices of Bill Dauterive. Whereas, his other roles have included Captain K’Vada in the Star Trek: The Next Generation two-part episode “Unification” (1991), Mr. Lund in O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000).
Early Life
He was born to Leona Estelle and Rolland Clairon 17th November 1951 in Sarasota, Florida. His father worked as a project superintendent/site manager in several engineering projects. Due to his father’s job, the family frequently relocated.
Stephen Root completed his high school studies from Vero Beach High School in Florida. He then enrolled in the University of Florida and gained an associate degree. He also enrolled in the University’s BFA program but left in the final semester because of his acting career. He later completed the BFA degree, and the college recognized him as one of the alumni in 2008.

Stephen Root is a married man. He married twice (Laura Joan Hase, Romy Rosemont). He married Laura Joan Hase in 1984, they have one son namely, Cody Root but the marriage didn’t go well so they divorced in 1997. Moreover, he married Romy Rosemont on December 14, 2008.
