My journey to becoming a teacher began with attending Marian University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in elementary and middle school education with a minor in mathematics. Later, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to obtain a Master's degree in the area of learning disabilities. I have been teaching in the Hortonville Area School District since August of 1997. The first 22 years of teaching were in third grade. This will be my third year of teaching fourth grade.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike. We are the proud parents of our adult sons, Trevor and Logan. My other interests include scrapbooking, card making, kayaking and reading.
