Our units will include:
- Geography/Early Humans
- Mesopotamia & Ancient Egypt
- Ancient Greece & Ancient Rome
- Middle Ages & Africa
- Renaissance & Age of Enlightenment
- Civics (Big Ideas, Declaration of Independence, the Constitution)
- Modern Times (WWI/WWII)
Students will need:
- 1.5 inch binder, 8 tabs for the binder and loose-leaf paper to keep all notes, project work and other class work.
GEOGRAPHY:
As part of our geography curriculum students are expected to practice their geography skills through the use of the website Seterra. Students should study to learn each map independently and at their own pace. Once students can pass a region with 100% accuracy they will submit a screenshot of their score and submit the assignment in Canvas. Students will start with the U.S. States and then move on to U.S. State Capitals. Students will also study other regions when we are in each unit.
See our Canvas page for daily class information. All grades will be in Mastery Connect (NOT connected to Canvas).
