Our philosophy is to be constantly working to improve our curriculum to reflect best practice in education. The Hortonville Area school district dedicates professional development time to ensure we have a cycle of ever improving curriculum for our students. When writing curriculum our teachers apply the four lenses of Technology, Differentiation, Rigor and Relevance and 21st Century Learning skills to ensure a high level of student engagement and achievement. For the 2015-16 school year, our district will be adopting the Common Core State Standards for Math and English Language Arts, Next Generation Science Standards for Science, and Wisconsin State Standards for all other content areas.
Additional information about of district practices can be obtained by calling the Curriculum office at (920)779-7901 and asking for Chris Hansen.
