HORTONVILLE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Hortonville Area School District includes residences in the Village of Hortonville, Town of Greenville, Town of Ellington, Town of Dale, Town of Center, Town of Hortonia, Town of Liberty, and Town of Grand Chute.
There are three (3) elementary schools within the District, two located in Greenville and one located in Hortonville - Greenville Elementary, Hortonville Elementary and North Greenville Elementary School. There are two (2) middle schools within the District - one located in Greenville and one located in Hortonville - Greenville Middle and Hortonville Middle, and there is one (1) high school located in Hortonville. HASD offers a 4K program in five (5) locations - Hortonville Elementary School, St. Edward's, YMCA, Play & Grow, and Hillside Nursery School.
Parents of students in the 4K program, elementary and middle school have the option to request their child to attend one of the schools not within their boundary zone. (Example: A student's boundary zone maybe Greenville Elementary School and the parents would like their child to go to North Greenville Elementary School.) This request is made through the Intra-District request process. Parents complete a form and submit to the District Office between February and April of the current school year for the upcoming school year. In May, the Administration will review class sizes and approve or deny requests. Request forms may be found under the "PARENTS" tab of the District website.
Open Enrollment is an option that parents have to send their child out of the Hortonville Area School District to another District or parents from another school district may request their child to attend the Hortonville Area School District. (Example: HASD student may wish to go to Appleton Area District or a Neenah School District student may wish to attend the Hortonville Area School District.) This process in done through the DPI website. Information for Open Enrollment can be found under the "Open Enrollment" section found on the left side options of the District website.
