Four Year Old Kindergarten comes to the Hortonville Area School District
The Hortonville Area School District (HASD) will be offering a half day-four day per week, pre kindergarten program that prepares four-year-olds for school success. Children who will be age four on or before September 1, 2010 will be eligible for 4K programming. 4K registration and site open house visits will be set up for early March. HMS 5th Grade Artists
Congratulations to the fifth grade artists from Hortonville Middle School who will have their artwork on display in the children’s department of the Appleton Public Library during March to celebrate Youth Art Month. Their creations are colorful tissue collages inspired by looking at Impressionist paintings and nature photos. The artists from Julie Miller’s art classes included in the display are Alex Kuske, Bethany Jennerjohn, Cody Lohrenz, Aria Marcellino, Gregory Ploch, Tyler Ziegler, Brooke Jahner, Zong Xiong, Allison Garson, Eugene Allen, Sydnee Dobberstein, and Sara Cooper
The library display also includes wire tree sculptures by fifth graders from Greenville Middle School. The display can be viewed any time the library is open to the public.
HMS School Store
The school store will be open during lunch hours starting on Monday, February 15, 2010. Check out the school supplies that are for sale!
