Digital Literacy Education in the Middle School is formally taught in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. 6th and 7th grade attend Digital Literacy for one semester during the school year. 5th and 8th grade attends Digital Literacy class for the entire year every three days.

Who is Mrs. Eggen and what does she like to do?

I love spending time with my family, my husband and my children.
I am a Grandma to a beautiful baby boy named Aiden.
My oldest son is married and has a little boy. He is working as a Chemical Engineer in Madison.
One of my Daughter-in-laws is a nurse in the Sun Prairie area.
My other son was married last year, graduated from UW-Madison with a Kinesiology Major and now in graduate school at UW-Madison to get his Phd in Physical Therapy.
My other Daughter is a environmental engineer.
My daughter graduated from UW-Eau Claire for her undergraduate degree and is currently in Davenport IA attending Palmer Chiropractic, studying to be a chiropractor.
I enjoy camping, especially in the mountain and by the ocean.
I enjoy coaching multiple sports.
I love taking pictures and creating scrapbook pages.
I love to garden and seeing the fruits of my labor.
I actually like going out for a run with my husband.
I enjoy biking and am really enjoying being out on the open road with pedal power.
I have enjoyed teaching middle school students for the past 15 years.
I started out in the business world & touched many facets of computers before teaching in the public school system.
I received my bachelors degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Computer Science and Math with a minor in Business.
