We worked hard on the "save our city" project in science class.

Then we presented to the developement board.

And the winner was.......(if you don't know ask your student)

Students completed 2 experiments.  In the first experiment they grew plants under different colors of light to determine which frequency was the most important for plants.  In the second experiments they looked at the genetics of plants to see which traits differed.  They found height and color were very noticeably different for some types of plants and flavor was very different for others.  Students enjoyed tasting a salad created by blending all of their plants together.  A number of them were ready to start planting their gardens!

We read the book City of Ember and decided it should have pictures.

The students in Danketopia did a great job at the magazine sale and they earned a pig for the great pig race.

We hope we win at the races on October 15th!

We created Ocean models.

Stretched end to end we would need to have 43 sections this long to equal how deep the oceans is.

WOW!
