Dear Parents,
Welcome to Kindergarten! I am very excited about meeting each and every one of you. I’m also looking forward to teaching your child and providing meaningful experiences to develop a lifelong love for learning. I truly want their first year of elementary school to be a positive experience.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and my teaching background. I was born and raised in the very small community of Niagara, Wisconsin. I attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where I earned my degree in nursery through third grade education. I began my teaching career in Iron Mountain, MI where I taught first grade for four years. My husband Bryan and I moved to Greenville fourteen years ago and this is when my journey as a kindergarten teacher began.
We have two wonderful children, our son Grant is thirteen years old and will be attending sixth grade at Greenville Middle School. He loves to read, watch anime, run, go on outdoor adventures, care for animals, swimming and making people laugh. Our daughter Peyton is ten years old and she will be entering third grade here at Greenville Elementary. She loves listening to music, dancing, singing, gymnastics, soccer and cooking.
When I am not chasing after my kids or being a taxi driver for them, I love to read, run, cook and explore technology. I also plan revisit my athletic past this year by running my second 5K race in late September with my son.
. Wish me luck!
It is going to be a very fun and exciting year. Kindergarten has changed a lot over the years so if you ever have any questions feel free to ask. It is best to email me at trinagannon@hasd.org since I am able to check messages throughout the day as well as at home. Phone calls are too difficult to answer during the school hours and messages are not always retrieved until the end of the day.
See you at soon at open house on August 27th.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gannon
