As listed on our Fifth Grade Music Handbook, our classroom expectations are to:
- RESPECT everyone’s right to participate and learn. Extra chatter, poor attitude, use of profane language, and not trying your best all prevent your ability to learn as well as your classmates’ ability to learn.
- BE RESPONSIBLE for your actions. Act and interact with peers in a manner that upholds the Polar Bear Way. This includes hallway expectations to and from the music classroom as well as behavior throughout music class. No food, drink (other than water), or gum is allowed in the music classroom because it does not promote healthy music making.
- Be an outstanding DIGITAL CITIZEN by showing responsibility with your device. We will have a few times where devices will be incorporated in our classwork, but it is expected that students follow directions on where their devices should be throughout music class.
- HAVE FUN! Music is such a wonderful tool we can use to explore the world, express ourselves, and learn to collaborate with peers.
