Thanks for visiting my website. I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (1-8) and UW-Madison with a Master's Degree in Educational Administration. I began my career teaching junior high social studies at Wheatland Center School, a small K-8 school in Kenosha County. I was hired by HASD in 1985 as a junior high English teacher. In 1995 I was hired as the Associate Principal of HMS and am currently AP of Hortonville Elementary, too.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the growth of HASD. When I started in 1985, the district had an enrollment of approximately 1200 students K-12, all located in the current high school building. Since then, the District has grown to five schools: GES, GMS, HES, HMS, and HHS. I am proud to be part of a progressive district that ensures the success of all students. Our facilities are excellent and we have supportive and involved parents and community.
In 1995 HMS was recognized by the US Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School. In 2009, I was selected as Wisconsin's Associate Principal of the Year by AWSA (Association of Wisconsin School Administrators).
I currently live in Greenville with my husband Roy and cat Crisco. My hobbies include enjoying time at our cottage, hiking, cross country skiing, yoga, and sailing,
